Blanket can have some shaping to it, and it doesnt need to cover the whole back. It can start from the hips and cover the tail for example. There are many possibilities!
Shapes not Allowed
Even with all that freedom, Blanket cannot be too drasticly shaped!It also can not mimic other markings or have any holes/breaks. Blanket should be one large marking!
Blanket on Feathers and Fins
When blanket appears on Prairie or Aerial feathers, it shows on the back (dorsal) side of the feathers.
In non-dominant form, blanket can only cover parts of the feathers. Dominant form allows the whole dorsal side of the feathers to be covered!
Similarly, blanket also only appears on the dorsal side of fins. With the back fin, it affects both sides of it.
