a guide to magma
Minimum
Magma must at minimum have a few branching crackles, it can not be just a line. However it can be fairly minimal in presentation!
Magma colors
Magma can use any saturated color allowed by the kukuri's base color. This means a Crimson kukuri can use a saturated yellow,
but not blue for example. Magma can also be non-saturated colors as well, allowing a wide range of flexibility with this
marking!
Magma can also have a slight color gradient inside the marking, the second color should be close in tone to the original
and should be completely blended!
Magma is NOT affected by Haze.
Magma spread
Magma can spread wide or cluster close together. In non-dominant form, Magma can spread across the body thinly
(but not go tail to nose).
In dominant form, magma can crackle all across and around the body with no limits!
While magma should always be connected to itself and cannot appear as multiple crackling clusters, there is one exception to this rule: a "floating" magma that does not wrap around the kukuri to their other side may mirror as a symmetrical magma marking to the other side of the kukuri.
If you wish to not mirror a floaty magma to the other side, you will need to provide an other side image showing the blank side!
Magma can appear on free areas with the crackled effect only!
