A Guide to Painted
Allowed
Painted is one of the most free and versatile markings in the group! It can allow you to create any number of patterns on a kukuri's face or feathers/fins. This marking is so free it can sometimes be hard to come up with ideas, as such, any of the above image can be used as inspiration!
Painted colors should be those permitted by the kukuri's basecoat unless affected by Iridescent!
Not Allowed
As free as Painted is, it does have some limits.
Unnatural shapes are not allowed, these include things such as stars, perfect squares, or hearts and runes
(unless those genes are present)
Logos, emojis, or writing aren't allowed!
Mimicing eyes isn't allowed! Even in the case of eyeless, Painted can not make fake eyes!
Other examples
Painted can be so many things. It does not need to be symmetrical, nor does it need to use all 3 colors permitted.
It can range from simple to complex. There are so many options!
