Chimera

Chimerism is a mutation where the kukuri carries two entirely different genotypes. This means the coat can become a patchwork of the two different genetics. The best way to create a Chimera is to first design one coat, then the other, and then start erasing the top design.

Chimerism, just like Piebald or Ink, can also cause noninheritable heterochromia.
However one of the genos have to split the face and go over one of the eyes for it to be possible!

The pup of a Chimera will be able to inherit all the markings present.

Chimera can be either asymmetrical or symmetrical. In case of the Chimera design being symmetrical, an other side of the design is not required - it is, though, always required for asymmetrical Chimera!

CHIMERA MUTATION IS NOT INHERITABLE.

When submitting a chimera for approvals you MUST provide the two genetic designs seperate from each other. This means genetic side one as one import, and genetic side 2 as a seperate import as aiding image. Alternatively, you may provide a very detailed breakdown of the design.
Failure to do so may slow down the judgement of your design!

CORRECT TYPES OF CHIMERA EXAMPLES:

Genotype:
Ebon Crimson with Smoke, Hood, Blanket and Dalmatian // Pearl with Stripes, Crest and Tailwind

Chimera, while allowing patchwork-like results, should still be easy for the design approver to determine what markings are doing what. Holes/spots of chimerism smaller than the kukuri's hand should be avoided or kept at minimum for as clear design as possible. If your design has multiple of such small spots, you might be requested to erase them.

While visible markings should be clear, a Chimera can hide markings. In such cases the approver might ask you to specify how the markings are going if they can't spot them out.
