Patagia

Perhaps an old remnant of a gene, this mutation causes feathers turn into skin, and gives Common kukuris an extra skin flaps, resembling a flying squirrel's limbs. The skin follows same coloring rules and marking ranges as the feathers, and allows Eidos to be displayed on Common kukuris.

When editing Patagia and wishing to remove it, at least one point must have 50% of the skin flap left as proof that the kukuri has the mutation.
